Our maiden voyage at Trinity came on a "light" day - only 170 guests needed lunch. (The first of the month is the lightest; on the previous day, there had been 253.) About 70 of these were lined up for seconds by the time the first wave had been served.
On the menu: a hearty beef stew, mashed potatoes, tossed green salad, applesauce, bread and butter, chocolate chip cookies, punch, and coffee.
Our volunteers greeted the guests, served the meals, and thoroughly cleaned up the room afterwards.
We will have more opportunities to serve at Trinity. Please contact Christina Gomez if you would like to be on the mailing list for future dates.
