Join Us for an Exclusive Event Exploring Urban Space Reimagined with Alex Yueyan Li (MArch '21)
We are excited to invite RMHUC members and Harvard University alumni to a unique exhibition created by our fellow alumnus Alex Yueyan Li (MArch ’21)—Assistant Professor of Architecture at CU Denver and Co-Principal of 11x17, a design practice based in Denver and Toronto.
This innovative exhibit focuses on repurposing urban spaces and is held in a former pizza shop (Pizza Locale), now transformed into a seasonal art gallery. Commissioned by the Architectural League of New York, and in collaboration with the Denver Art Museum and Continuum Partners (whose mission is to create human habitats of extraordinary character and enduring value), the project offers a compelling vision for reactivating vacant urban environments.
Professor Li will lead a short talk about the design approach, collaborations, and the conceptual framework behind the exhibition.
Attendees will also enjoy snacks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic refreshments during the evening.
The event takes place in 9+CO at 895 Albion Street, Denver, CO.
