Many of us have moved to Denver from other places. Few have moved from farther away and into a more foreign place than people emigrating from the former Soviet Union. Meet a panel of entrepreneur émigrés who came to Denver and launched successful watch and coffee businesses, and a Harvard Business School grad who is working with one of them. Hear from:
- Felix Zaltsberg, Founder of Right Time Watches
- Anatoly and Leonid Yuffa, Founders of Dazbog Coffee
- Judd Belstock (MBA ’05), Sales Director at Dazbog Coffee and former owner and founder of Dos Luces Brewery
The panel will speak about their experiences emigrating to the US, founding and financing their businesses, and what kind of opportunities Main Street entrepreneurship can offer to Harvard alumni.

Right Time International Watch Center
Felix Zaltsberg came to the United States as a Jewish refugee from Ukraine, USSR in 1979. As a 17 year old, he started working as soon as he came to Denver. Then he went to school at Emily Griffith Trade School for Watchmaking, under the expert teaching of Archie Perkins. As a watchmaker he apprenticed with his mentor Dan Mattheu while doing trade work for various jewelry stores around town. In 1986, he finally opened doors to his own store, Right Time, on Colorado Blvd, where it still is to this day. Since then, he and his family opened a second location in Highlands Ranch, which will be hosting the evening’s event. Felix is a testament of the things that are possible. Even for a Jewish immigrant from the Soviet Union during the heart of the Cold War, with a ton of hard work, a little luck, and a lot of help from family, you can make the American Dream come true.
Dazbog Coffee
Dazbog coffee is the realization of the American Dream by two immigrants of the former Soviet Union, Anatoly and Leonid Yuffa. The dream that is now Dazbog began on a bitter, cold night among the cobblestone streets of Leningrad. The Yuffa family fled Russia to embark on a new and better life of freedom, democracy and opportunity. Brothers Anatoly and Leonoid have combined the richness of their Russian heritage and the traditions of roasting only the finest quality Arabica beans from coffee estates around the world to create Dazbog Coffee.
Anatoly (Tony) Yuffa, CEO, spawned a love for coffee while living in Rome as a young man. Dedication to quality service, products and personalized customer attention has made Tony’s business endeavors a success. He’s traveled to plantations ensuring the highest quality coffee for his customers and received roasting training from some of the industry's finest experts. Tony‘s founding of an annual donation program for the homeless, his other entrepreneurial business operations, plus a strong commitment to his family are just some of the aspects that make him widely recognized for his judgement, integrity, and compassion.
Leonid (Leo) Yuffa, President and COO, graduated in 1992 from the University of Colorado with a degree in accounting. Prior to co-founding DAZBOG with his brother Tony, Leo worked in the coffee industry for over five years. Leo has visited coffee and restaurant equipment shows throughout the United States and Europe, establishing contacts with, and gleaning expertise from, the world’s finest manufacturers and roasters. Vendors and customers alike praise Leo’s broad knowledge of the coffee industry, as well as his unsurpassed dedication to customer service.
Judd Belstock (MBA ’05), Sales Director at Dazbog Coffee and former owner and founder of Dos Luces Brewery, has been in the beverage industry since he was 23 years old. He started his first company when he was 9 years old, selling herbs from the family garden door to door and offering simple landscaping services to neighbors. After many years in the beer industry, he started his own brewery in 2016, introducing Pre-Colonial style beers to the United States. After selling the brewery in 2023, he joined the Yuffa brothers at Dazbog as their Sales Director.
We look forward to seeing you there!
