RMHUC Family Concert and Tour with the CSO
Join the RMHUC and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra for a Sunday afternoon of family fun and classical music!
On Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., the Colorado Symphony Orchestra will host a family concert for adults and kids of all ages. Even the squirmiest members of your family are welcome! The symphony will perform “The Pink Panther” and “Baby Elephant Walk” by Henry Mancini; Benjamin Britten’s “The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra,” Op. 34; and Camille Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals.” For more information on the concert, click here.
The doors of Boettcher Concert Hall will open at noon, so that families can meet each other and enjoy CSO-sponsored activities including craft projects; an instrument petting zoo (guests get to try out various instruments); a conducting station (individuals have the opportunity to conduct several CSO musicians); and a backstage tour.
For the family concert, tickets are $22 for adults and $11 for children. The CSO has reserved a limited number of seats for our club, so buy your tickets now and look forward to an entertaining and educational afternoon of live classical music! (We will give all names to the CSO and you can pick up your tickets at will call when you arrive.) Please direct any questions to Sunhee Juhon Hodges at sunheej@comcast.net.
