Paul C Nikitovich, a resident of Cherry Hills and a former vice-president of Johns-Manville, died on December 28, 2015, at the age of 90. Born in the former Yugoslavia, he escaped after World War II and took refuge in Paris before immigrating to the US. He studied law at the Sorbonne, earned his business degree from Rutgers University, and attended Harvard Business School. Mr. Nikitovich moved to Colorado in 1972 with Johns-Manville. He later started his own company, Perfiltra, in Argentina. A world traveler, he was fluent in seven languages. Survivors include three children, Paul Nikitovich (Colorado), Vesna Matthies (France) and Maia Madden (California), his sister Billy Nikitovich-Winer (Kentucky) and nine grandchildren. Wife Gisele and son George preceded him in death. Kind, loyal and charismatic, Mr. Nikitovich helped so many people in any way he could. A service to honor him took place at 6pm on Saturday, January 2nd, at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church, 9305 W Cedar Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado.
