Bob Vanourek, MBA '66, will appear at the Tattered Cover bookstore, 2526 E. Colfax Ave., on Thursday, August 23 at 7:30 pm to discuss his new book, Triple Crown Leadership: Building Excellent, Ethical, and Enduring Organizations, published by McGraw-Hill and co-authored with his son, Gregg.
Bob and Gregg interviewed 61 organizations in 11 countries from Google and eBay to Zappos.com, Mayo Clinic, nonprofits, startups, and turnarounds to discover their leadership practices. Their interviews included Princeton University President Shirley Tilghman and former University of Denver Chancellor Dan Ritchie (AB '54, MBA '56). With a Foreword by the late Stephen Covey and his son, Stephen M. R. Covey, and endorsements from many leadership experts, this book, published on June 19, has been well received.
