Does listening to a Shakespeare play seem difficult?  William Shakespeare wrote in verse, a particularly musical use of the English language shared by rock ‘n rollers, rappers, blues singers, and even country-western artists.  How do they do that?  Come and learn the building blocks of verse reading and writing from Tom Beresford, Stanford ’69, HMS '76, Stegner Fellow in Poetry, ’79, and published poet and writer.  Then watch The Comedy of Errors under the stars and hear the play’s own music.  Dr. Beresford is a CU professor and medical scientist whose most recent book is Psychological Adaptive Mechanisms from Oxford University Press, 2012.
