George H. Warren, MD, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Monday, April 29, 2013.

Born in Boston in 1947, he graduated from the Belmont Hill School, 1965, Harvard College, 1969 and Temple Medical School, 1975. George finished his residency at the University of Colorado where he joined the faculty in 1978.

From 1984-2004, he worked in a private pathology practice at Rose Medical Center. He practiced in anatomy and pathology over 30 years, with a special interest in gastrointestinal and liver disease. In the past decade, George was involved with the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA), and organization dedicated to educating those born with heart problems, their families and expanding the cross-training of physicians in both pediatric and adult cardiology. ACHA brought George great pleasure and good challenges.

He is survived by his wife, Rosamond Warren; his brother Thomas Warren of Dublin, New Hampshire and sister Sally Warren of Sanilhac, France and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Washington Park United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 9, at 2:00 pm, 1955 East Arizona Avenue, Denver, CO. Donations my be made to the ACHA, 6757 Greene Street, Philadelphia, PA 19119-3508 (888)921-ACHA
