Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 28 at 6 p.m., when the Rocky Mountain Harvard University Club will host a 90-minute webinar on COVID-19 and economic policy. Leading the webinar will be Jasmine Griffin Burton SB MS '15, who has been working with the Massachusetts High Technology council, a group of scientists,
academics and business leaders who have advised the Massachusetts governor, the California governor, the White House task force and other policy makers with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Specifically, the webinar will address when and how state governments should re-open their economies and relax restrictions imposed to slow the spread of the virus. Those who sign up for the webinar will be sent written materials shared with policy makers and will have an opportunity to ask questions. The High Technology Council has been covered extensively in the press, including these articles.

Jasmine Griffin graduated from Arapahoe High School in 2011, and then from Harvard College in 2015 Phi Beta Kappa with an S.B. and a M.S. in applied mathematics. That same year she started working at Bain Capital. She, her husband and her 1-yr. old son live in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The presentation will take place on the Zoom platform. It is free of charge. We will send out videoconference information the day of the event as well as post it here-- https://zoom.us/j/8652672280.
